• Description du parcours : 2026 Grand Falls Running event in collaboration with the Grand Falls Potato Festival June 28, 2026 Race Day Participation: Come for the race and stay for the festival! The first year of the volunteer-only lead and organized 5km and 10km Grand Falls Running event is a professionally chip timed fun run/walk event. Enjoy a scenic route of rolling hills through Grand Falls. Starting at the Potato Festival grounds Bistro, up the traffic-controlled street section to enjoy the fast and flat main section of the historical Trans Canada Trail overlooking the Saint John river. The 5km turnaround/water station at the foot of the old train track bridge to back track to the start/finish. The 10km route will continue onto past the 5km turnaround with signage, and up towards the McCain plant on the fast Trans Canada Trail, then turn around with a water station on the same route to the start/finish line. Celebrate your fun run/walk completion at the Bistro, and in time for the festival parade. Discount automatically applied to participants aged 14 and under as part of the "Small Strides, Health Lives" kids program between RunNB and the New Brunswick Medical Society, to help encourage youth participation in road races during the RunNB road racing season. We will have limited self-serve water stations. The event is professionally chip-timed by Atlantic Chip. Official results will be updated during the event. Please allow excess time to complete waivers and registrant forms. 7:30am-8:30am. 5km - $80 cash 10km - $80 cash Tater-Trots Kids running wild?! Bring them by the Tater-Trot! A 250m/500m young kids (recommended ages 7 and under) fun run at 3pm, in the Potato Fest grounds baseball field. Join us for a fun filled day for the entire family! Pre-registration for Tater-Trots is encouraged to make sure there is enough medals and bibs, but same-day registration $15 is accepted at 2:30pm on site. Stollers etc. accepted.
